Git you can see, and take back.

Nori puts the whole repository in one window: every branch in its own colour, every change one click from staged, and an undo for the moments Git usually punishes.

Commit graph

Drag a branch. Drop a merge.

Every branch keeps its own colour wherever it appears. Drop one branch on another to merge or rebase, drop a commit to cherry-pick or revert it. Before anything runs, the menu names both branches.

  • Nine branch colours, the same in the graph, the sidebar and on the remote
  • Merge, rebase, cherry-pick, revert or push by drag and drop
  • Reveal any branch tip in the graph without checking it out

Interactive rebase

Squash commits. See the result before Git runs.

Choose Squash on a fix below its parent. Nori shows the folded commit in the resulting history, alongside every reword, fixup, edit and drop in the plan.

  • Plan every commitReorder, pick, reword, edit, squash, fixup or drop from one list.
  • See what Squash keepsThe result shows the combined changes and both commit messages.
  • Stay in controlStart when ready; if Git pauses, continue, skip or abort in Nori.

Universal undo

Undo works on Git too.

Committed too early? Deleted the wrong branch? Before every commit, branch deletion, stash drop and discard, Nori keeps a snapshot. Undo from the toast, or pick any operation back from the list.

  • ⌘Z right after a commit, a deletion or a discard
  • ⌥⌘Z lists every operation of the last 30 days
  • Snapshots stay in your repository, under refs/nori/undo

Review and commit

Stage the line you mean. Let your AI write the message.

Read the diff, then stage exactly what belongs in the commit: a hunk, one line, a run of lines. One click on ✦ writes the message from what you staged, with the agent CLI you already use.

  • Hunk by hunkUnified, split, or one Stage button per hunk.
  • Down to the lineStage or unstage a single line, or a selection, from the gutter.
  • A message in one clickWritten from the staged diff by Claude Code, Codex, Gemini or Cursor.

Merge conflicts

Resolve conflicts with the result in view.

Your version and the incoming one side by side, the finished file underneath. Pick what stays, or ask ✦ Suggest resolution for a proposal built from both sides and their common ancestor. Nothing is applied until you choose Use this.

  • Take a line, a block or a whole side
  • Walk the hunks with ⌥↑ ⌥↓
  • Continue or abort a merge, rebase or cherry-pick at any step

Pull requests · Pro

From push to pull request, without the browser.

Push & PR pushes your branch and opens the request on GitHub or GitLab, its description drafted from your template. Reviews then shows what still blocks the merge, in one bar: checks, approvals, threads and the branch itself.

  • GitHub and GitLabPull and merge requests, next to the history they change.
  • Checks you can act onRead the failing job, then re-run it from the Checks tab.
  • A summary before you read✦ Summarise for review points at the risky files. It stays a local note and is never posted.

Search

Find any commit, not just the ones on screen.

⌘K jumps to a branch, a file or an action. Add a filter and it searches the whole history, then narrows the graph to what matches.

  • author:, path:, content:, regex:, before:, after: and hash:
  • Completion for authors, folders and dates as you type
  • Show only the matches in the graph, one chip per filter

Performance

Fast, without Electron.

On the Mac, Nori is written in Swift. On Windows and Linux, its core is written in Rust and its window uses the system’s own web view. No Electron, no bundled browser engine. Git runs through the git already on your computer.

0.3 s

AI, on your terms

Your AI tools, not ours.

Nori has no AI service of its own. Every ✦ action calls an agent CLI already installed on your computer, signed in with your own account. No API key to paste, nothing sent to Nori, and each action can be switched off.

  • Claude Code
  • Codex
  • Gemini CLI
  • Cursor
  • Your own command

And the rest of a day in Git.

Try Nori on your own repository.

Nori is free, on every repository. No account, no card.
